A client’s assessment experience

“Great initial assessment, very knowledgeable and immediately had more engagement from my dogs than I have for a while.”

David Maxfield · Client review. Read the source review

Individual experiences vary. This review does not promise the same outcome for every dog.

Recognise these challenges?

Start with the situations
you want to improve.

Walks feel stressful

Pulling, barking or lunging makes outings difficult and leaves you unsure how to respond.

Home feels unsettled

Difficulty settling, anxiety or poor impulse control is affecting daily routines.

Responses are unreliable

Recall, engagement or following instructions becomes inconsistent when it matters.

What your £95 includes

Understand the behaviour.
Practise your first steps.

Roman kneeling with a German Shepherd
Understanding the dog is the starting point for appropriate training.

Your appointment is a private 90-minute session with Roman at The Canine Alliance in Halfway, Sheffield.

Roman reviews your completed intake form before you attend, so the session is prepared around your dog’s history, your main challenges and your goals. During the appointment, you and your dog are assessed together in a controlled environment.

What you take away

  • Clearer understanding: what may contribute to the behaviour, what to stop doing and what to focus on first.
  • Practical owner coaching: Roman demonstrates one appropriate priority exercise, then guides you as you practise with your dog.
  • Your written starting plan: three personalised actions, initial exercises and appropriate management guidance to use at home.
  • One follow-up video review: send one short video of your handling for concise feedback, with up to five minutes of Roman’s review time. Submission and response arrangements are explained at your assessment; ongoing messaging is not included.
  • An honest next-step recommendation: suitable further support, if needed, explained with no obligation to purchase.

This is not a guarantee that every behaviour issue will be resolved in one appointment.
